2017 has 10% more power???

The actual claim is a 10% better power to weight ratio but it does say 10% more power on the website in the 800HO engine details section.

My assumption is that the power is the same from 16 to 17 and they are still advertising last years increase. Anybody know for sure?

Since the weight is the same as last year, power must be up to make that claim right?

So 10% better than WHAT Polaris? Better than last year, better than '15 LOL, better than Ski Doo (850 NOT!)????

Pretty bad advertising unless there is an improvement over last year...

That looks like the same literature as last year and think they are still comparing AXYS (16 or 17) to the 15 Pro motor.

No different that skidoos advertising that the 850 has a 10 HP increase but only has 165hp when the 800r had 162hp so only a 3hp gain I'm assuming will be 10hp over 17 800 etec that there gonna detune too 155

That press release looked like it had a lot of old advertising in it. I don't think they can make the claim that they have the highest horsepower to weight ratio anymore. I think Ski doo is now higher.

Poo Axys claimed 155 HP/408 lbs = .3799 HP per pound
Doo 850 claimed 165 HP/434 lbs = .3802 HP per pound

434lbs is the 154 model
441lbs for the 165
