so I bought this brand new 16 LT haven't been able to ride it because I'm getting some cylinder work done on my bike, but I keep hearing about these 16 chain problems. I really don't want to bust a chain I have the JT x1r2 chain. What have you guys been doing. Does Ts warranty anything or do I just need to buy a new chain?

My 16 JT chain stretched gradually then in one ride stretched so much it took out the idler in the chain case and wore a hole in chain case. I would not trust the JT chain. TS warrantied my chain but, that was last year. I would think they will replace it for free? Good luck.

Ive seen photos of broken cases from the JT snapping. I had a JT snap also but I got lucky.
Purchase a 140 link chain and it will do your drive and chaincase chain.

Ok thanks for the advice. What are you guys running for chains then? Or maybe if I'm patient it looks like they are coming out with a belt drive?
