I think I'll let you guys do the first year or two of R&D, don't hear much talk of the new chassis being that much better than the pro and the current 800 has plenty of juice for me.
Agreed. Too many years of being the Guinea Pig on the race program for me.
And remember, the last model year of the current generation is, most of the time, better than the first model year of the next generation. Oftentimes it takes 2-3 years for the newest offering to get to where the previous generation ended up- and sometimes it never does. I can come up with many examples of this in the motorcycle and snowmobile industry. One of the best examples comes from the Arctic Cat camp. The Firecat never lived up to the cornering and overall handling prowess of the ZR lineup. Then AC came out with the twin spar- another step backwards in many respects, especially for the performance minded among us. I could continue on with MANY more examples....
By the way, what makes everyone think the Pro will get a new chassis next year? Maybe Polaris will stand pat with the best mountain sled ever made. Maybe a few refinements......
