I thought that some might be interested in the changes that we made to the Phantom Teth-Air for 2016.
The 2016 Phantom Teth-Air now has a replaceable Sensor cable that is simply removed by slackening off a set screw located on the back of the Upper Control Module.
Secondly we have up-sized the internal relay from a 10 Ampere to a 16 Ampere in order to handle bigger loads that we sometimes see from the 4 stroke sleds that have lots of accessories.
To handle this higher load, we got custom cables designed that actually have 2 heavier wires for the Normally Closed relay installs (4-strokes)
This custom cabling also gave us 2 new watertight connectors so NO MORE HEAT-SHRINK!
We also repackaged the lower board into a smaller fiberglass enclosure. This makes for a cleaner smaller install.
While at it we came up with a new bottom fill epoxy pour process so the windows are more consistent for the Upper Control Units. This simply looks much better.
Finally We tweaked the programming and added some new features such as:
1. If the sled is started on its side, the roll over switch will be temporarily disabled.
2. We added a demo mode that disables the relay so new riders can get used to the Phantom by just watching the multi-colour LED.
3. We added multi-colour feedback to the rider for the different modes.
4. For a limited time we are giving our customers pre-installed connectors for their brand of sled when ordered directly from us. This make installation a snap.
We hope these changes will make the 2016 Phantom better than ever.
