2016 LT TSS first impression

Does the TSS make the seat height higher

Good morning, have a 2015st, my TSS just arrived, never thought of asking the tech department if the tss made the seat height even higher, I'm 5.6 and I wouldnt want my ktm 500 to be any higher than it is for steep nasty tree riding. Can any body let me know if it does and exactly how much, if it does ill just sell the tss kit and leave the bike as is, only ride off the trail any way.

Pretty sure the fit kit data was showing the same length strut rod as tss shock length. It is also adjustable, so you can lower it a bit if needed. But I am assuming with the same length, plus sitting on it, it should sit lower with your weight on it.

Correct. Solid strut and TSS are the same length.
PDS strut 14 1/4"
Linkage strut 13 1/6"
Center hole to center hole
 
I'm 195 LB with out gear 220 LB with gear I have 200 PSI in the TSS and with a all day ride that had some good hard hits I only measure 1 1/4" to the O ring.

I'm riding a 14 300 XC this weekend with a 16 kit I'll let you know my opinion on the difference.
J800 are you running a 2016 LT or ST?
 
Down to 225 psi and the O ring moved about 1.5 inches, let some preload off the rear but the front is almost full tight ,and no limiter strap this year? May need a different front track spring?the convex track is really good, hooks up great leans really far now!!
 
Front Forks

I got my front forks re-valved and rebuilt with custom oversized springs @ Motion Sports RG3 Suspension Center in Idaho (shipped from AK in a shotgun case). I cannot begin to preach how much of a difference it makes in all riding conditions combined with the TSS. With those two suspension upgrades combined with a Scott's Damper, I can now set my damper slightly tight and ride my bike through wooped out sections and rutted trails while standing. I can lean forward on my pegs and fully trust the front ski and forks to hold me up. Last season I would not have trusted the rear to stay on the ground and not bounce from one end to the other while leaning into the ski. Since my forks now ride at the top of the stroke not mid, the track pressure and tracking is much better. Any sort of oversized fork spring is much recommended

Great info. How much do you weigh as a rider without equipment and gear?
