2016 ktm xc-f high output stator

Has anyone figured out a high output stator option for the redesigned engine. I know baja designs lumps this stator in with some older 350's and 250's for rewinds but I don't think that means I could just grab a high output for one of those bikes. Just wanted to see if anyone has done anything yet.

I'm not opposed to the rewind, just considering my options first.

I want to be able to run all the gizmos for snowbike season (lights, grip warmers, and fan) so I will need to get some extra wattage.
 
Not sure which model you have?? But for the 450s I have a Stator coming for my 16 SXF 450, from Ricky Stator 1-866-631-3837, they should be the same for the XCF, They do not need a core to rewind at this time. $175.00 including shipping. Good people to work with. I was referred by Trail Tech to them :face-icon-small-coo <cite class="_Rm">www.rickystator.com.

Not Sure if Slavens has them for the new 4stroke bikes yet??

I contacted both Baja Designs and Ricky Stator last week as I have the same bike. The Baja Designs rewind option is $200 with you sending in your existing stator and gets you to 90W. The Ricky Stator option is a new stator for $175 but only gets you to 70W. It looks like Slavens is 2T only and Trail Tech also referred me to Ricky Stator with no option from them any time soon.

Baja Designs said their 90W Stator would allow an additional 40W to be pulled. This makes it seem like we'd need at least 90W to run heated grips on high.
 
I have the Baha'i designs stator on my 14 sx and run 2 led headlights and a Dobec AFR Plus which heats an O2 sensor ,,,was thinking about handle bar heaters but I love my heated gloves!so far so good, now I'm thinking of a cigarette plug so I can charge the extra set of glove batteries while I ride?
 
I think your only option so far is to have your stator rewound by either RickeyStator or Baja Designs. I haven't heard anything about TrailTech producing one for this bike. I've been waiting for a year now.
 
I just installed a 2017 450 EXC-F Six Days stator in mine.

2016 450 SX-F/XC-F stator is 75w
2017 450 EXC-F Six Days stator is 168w

I had to change the stator, flywheel, engine cover, cable bracket, and went with a custom 3 phase voltage regulator (oem was too expensive).

The stator and flywheel are way bigger and will output more than any aftermarket stator will. I haven't ridden it yet. No idea how the larger flywheel will feel.

run Raze heated bars and then you don't need to touch the stator, will run the LED lights no problem.been doing this on all the 16 and 17 KTM builds
 
You can run hand warmers off stock stator just fine. You can run and LED light off stock stator just fine. You just cant run them at the same time.

Yup. The stator in the 450 SXF/XCF is rated at 12V 75W.

I don't want to have to choose when it's dark out and my hands are cold. I also like the comfort of knowing my bike is making more power than I need being electric start only.
