Was up riding yesterday sled died on me 3 times but started right up after a min or so. Then on 4th time it died and had to get towed out. Checked all connections. Nothing was wet it loose. Anybody have this issues or ideas ?

What is the history of the sled? How many miles? Any wrecks (wires pinched or repaired), you said connectors are dry but has it been in water?, Throttle safety switch wet, damaged or frozen? Compression? Spark plug boot(s) loose or old? What else have you checked so far? Any engine mods? Did the dealership hook up digital wrench?
There are some great people on here with lots of advice but please give some more details so we can help.

Unplug the ignition (key) switch and recheck for spark.

Also, unplug the teather cord if one has been installed.

See if either of those do the trick. If not, you going to have to start digging into the electrical and figure out whats missing. Eric

Had a similar issue when my sled was brand new. It was pretty erratic though. I was adamant it was not the tether.
Turns out it was the tether.

Sled is all stock no mods. Has 32 miles on it. Plugs are not fouled. But did try a new set. Check for pinched wires and compression was fine. Dealership is 300 miles away so trying to only go that route if nothing else. No tether on sled.

My money is on the wiring around the hand warmer, high/low headlight and "mode" buttons. Unplug all of that and try again.

Had a friend have issues with his tether as well and last weekend another guy with issues on the kill switch. Both stock sleds other than a clutch kit on each one.

Dead sled

This happened to me a few years back and it started back up as well but after 4 or 5 times it wouldn't start anymore.turns out it was the voltage regulator starting to go bad and when I kept starting it. The problem bypassed the regulator and burned up and fried the ECU.
