2016 Assault 3" SLP pipe clutching?

I have a 2016 Assault 3'' and an SLP pipe I want to leavethe clutching stock and just start with heavier weights. How many grams heavershould I start I’m thinking 2g-4g. I ride 3000-6000 don’t really know about theresistor either.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Does the sled have any miles on it yet? 2 wont be enough, 4 might be close but would be a good place to start. If it doesnt have any miles on it, you will gain a bunch of rpm in the first 100 miles. Eric

Running 10-70's at paxon/summit slp pipe 163x3.
Stock clutching.
Pulls 8450 climbing in ethanol mode 3.2 hours on the clock.

The fuel resistors are pieces of **it.
Mine threw CE Lights and then fell apart when i went to check the connections.
Ran all day without the resistor with no issues.

Sled rips. :)

ya I have 111 miles on do alot of riding in summit and did notice a gain in rpm at about 100. Thanks ill start with 10-70 exactly what I was looking for.

Ditch your poo belt for a bit softer durometer rubber...the belt winds up 3-400 rpm then settles back. I'm running 70's stock pipe, Bikeman can, 3" paddle at 5000-6000 and its spot on with a Gates belt other than needing to get a bit higher engagement spring (mine was 3000 with 70's).

about 6 hours on sled and 250 miles.

Rt

Mine wouldn't work with the resistor either. It was giving check engine lights after 1 mile. Removed resistor and it was fine. I was pretty disappointed with the poor quality of the resistors, made very cheaply. Not up to Slp standards at all. It fell apart trying to disconnect. Bmp is using a bully dog. Slp should too for us guys running low altitude

The poo belt is rock solid rpm on target for me and my brothers sled.

If you are getting rpm wander maybe you should check your primary spring for binding.
I'm running an indy specialty slick shift washer in the primary also.
Did you put a delrin washer in the secondary?

Running 10-72's at 2000 feet last Saturday.
8250-8300 without any waver.
