2015 Viper MTX Sno-check prices

All right, back on topic. I also snowchecked a blue/white 153 w/turbo from Norther Power Sports in Fairbanks AK. Would like to note that Drew from Anchorage Yamaha gave a heck of a quote but decided to buy from NPS just to stay loyal. Also thanks to Drew for the test ride at Arctic Man on Friday. Any body up grading to MPI stage 1? Thanks Fred

Good man, couldn't take not having a new one? :face-icon-small-hap I'm gonna ride it as is but get brow beat into getting more, first stab at boost.:face-icon-small-hap

Not meaning to derail this thread but was there any determination on the best guage set up. How did the KOSO guage work out? Fred

First and only mod on line for next season will be BOOSTING the new Viper!!

If it rides like my cat, some wheelie control might be needed. Every time I point up hill the skis are two feet in the air. It is a blast to boondock but climbing is interesting.

I was super happy with the KOSO on my Nytro.
Wouldn't hesitate to put that gauge on a boosted Viper.

Will be interesting to find out next year.
When I converted my nytro skid over to KMOD it was like the sled became a slot car.
Depending on the suspension setting you could dial it in so that it would never lift.
That front end was glued to the snow!.

Really looking forward to getting to know how the cat chassis behaves with a boosted Yamaha engine in it.

The Viper Mountain 162 boosted I rode was not a wheelie machine and was quite manageable.

32-33 psi is the magic number !!

seriously got to wonder what sales for Cat M11 are gonna be...then again who really cares

Nytros are Nytros.
They are all nose heavy.
But the KMOD suspension does an amazing job of locking down the front end under full boost so the nose doesn't rise up in the air.

so thats your secret to plowing and doing such an awesome job on the grooming!!
