I have to assume the 1100 motor is history. Not only do I think the Suzuki partnership is up, but there is no reason not to run the Yammi triple with boost as the "9000 series" sled. Other than that, maybe a new DSI 800???

800 Ctech2

Look for a 800 version of the Ctech 600 that arrived this year. I think the 1100Turbo will be around for at least another year, possibly two, as it works very well. Updated engine mounting (hopefully) on the 9000 series Cats, BNG for sure all around.

Agree- with this statement above^^^
The viper is solid motor but on Boost... that is unknown- until more testing- Me thinks the 1100 Suzuki lives for at least 2 more years..
And hopefully with motor mounts and brackets to make her line up between the cross hairs this time....

UUUhhhhh, the Viper motor has been running around boosted for 6 plus years now. They are solid, however don't look for this motor to come boosted stock.

The 1100 turbo will be here for a while.

As for the two stroke stuff....can't say.

I know what they should do.

Vented hood, side panels and knee vents stock
EVO TCL delete stock
OSP Polyurethane engine mounts stock
Stock tether
Stock switch guards
Manual chain tensioner
Stronger lighter jack shaft.
Bear Cat skis
Anti stab kit stock
Let Yamaha clutch it.

This isn't to much to ask for on a $15K machine. I love the sled but I shouldn't have to add another $2k to get it to not overheat or blow belts like crazy.

Sorry to poach your thread. Back on topic

I seen a viper being fitted for a supercharger at a place known for the Diamond Drive. MCX was the name I seen on it. He was hush hush about it but I think its an aftermarket build possibly. I would have to guess a 162 supercharged viper mtn. version lightweighted to hell.

You mean CMX? (Crazy mountain extreme)

If you seen MCX there a turbo builder, already have a kit out for the Vipers. They have been building turbos for years nice kits.

You won't get your venting stock. I talked to one of the cat engineers about it back in 2011 and he said the only reason that they don't come with the vented pannels stock is for sound emissions. Same reason they put all that dam foam in there too. They will not pass sound certifications in the US, and especially Canada, if they open them up.
