2015 rmk do you guys think it needs aftermarket piston off the bat

tell ya what....

I'm on PRO number 3, and haven't had any issues with any of them. Have a little faith in it, besides, it's got warranty.... As far as the Kurts gear down and clutching, YEP, it works, and works well, turns an already fun sled into an even funner sled,,,.... My 2 cents

Just ride it- Don't void that warranty just yet

I also was in the same boat/ and staying with no- touch it- not even turning up the oiler ( 3 separate very good dealers said leave it ALONE) if your worried just add some oil at the tank each ride- pretty easy

As far as the gear down kit- I am going to have to wait to see one on the snow before $600.00 is plunked down- then decide do I need to go to 2.25 or the 2.41 Ratio for my riding style.

Just ride it and enjoy it/ and go from there- sometimes reading on here gets a guy to thinking to much and spending more.. Just my .02

If your Doos were 800`s from the past, honestly, you probably rode with a bigger risk of piston failure then, compared to the risk with your `15 Pro 800.

Enjoy the new sled.

You've got warranty, I'd use it if needed. Wouldn't touch it until that's up, and who knows if you'll even own it that long or ever need it. I've seen a few for sale with over 4,000 miles and never touched...
