Bought a pair of 2015 Pro RIde 800 163. One Completely stock and one with a Boondocker turbo with intercooler. I was initially going to just put fresh springs in the primary and secondary and call it good. The boondocker shifts a bit harder at 4000 rpm. I didn't bother pulling the whole primary clutch and just compressed the primary clutch, took off the faceplate and dropped the spring out. Looked at the weights and saw they are polaris 10-70 weights (Stock machine has 10-74). Secondary I pulled out and quickly discovered whoever was in it last practically welded the torx bits in as I twisted two torx bits off and wound up stripping another screw. So I decided not to run down that rabbit hole any further. That's staying as is until the secondary is shot and just need to replace the whole thing.

Here's the thing with that primary White with red stripe spring. I ordered one about a month ago and wound up canceling the order yesterday. I could try ordering one on ebay etc. Far as i can tell though was that spring was for a RZR everywhere I look. I've got 3 or 4 brand new almond springs and a set of the hardened ZRP spacers to help prevent them from breaking. Guy I know that used to ride with the prior owner said it was setup for higher elevation. (Well aren't they all) My thought was just toss in the almond primary with ZRP spacers and call it good. My house is at about 4000ft but ride 6000ft-8000ft mostly but go a bit higher at times. (225lb rider).

Think that would be OK or should I track down the same spring that was in there? consider changing weight etc.

That could very well have been an aftermarket clutch kit where the company paints the spring their own colors so that they cant be copied and you have to buy from them. Kurts performance did or still does this with their clutch kits. I am assuming you talked with Boondocker about the spring?

Hello, perhaps you can help me out with the problem I am having with getting my Secondary/Drive clutch on the Shaft. It seems as though there is something obstructing the bolt being able to go right through the clutch. It stops with the threads sitting inside the clutch about 1/4" 3/8". I remember having extreme difficulty with getting it off, I used hydraulic pressure I believe it is called. I filled up the clutch hole where the bolt goes with water, put a **** load of Teflon tape using my 24" breaker bar wasn't enough so I put a piece of pipe on it and with a lot of force it finally popped off and when I say popped it must have went at least a foot and a half maybe two feet in the air. Never saw that before, nor have I ever had such difficulty trying to remove a clutch like that before. And now that I am trying to put it back on I am having extreme difficulty trying to get it on. It is definitely the right size of bolt, I made sure that it was the correct one. To me the bolt should not be getting stuck where it is. If I can figure out how to attach a picture to my post I will do that because I don't know what else to do
