GGB lists a can for that model

That sled basically has the same skid as the Switchback Assault 144" (torsion spring, basically same skid in older IQ's) except with cheaper shocks. Anyway where I am going with that is there is a couple things you can do to the skid to make it either better for trail or better for off trail. It should have a couple limiter strap settings, if not also front shock mount placement. One for less aggressive attack angle (better off trail, deep powder), or more (better on-trail, bump control). Maybe do a search for "SBA skid setup" or "Switchback Assault skid setup", replace "skid" with suspension if nothing comes up.

ok thanks how do you change the front shock setup

If I remember correctly (without going outside to trailer) their is a upper and lower mount position on the FTA (front transfer arm) for the shock. Upper better for powder, lower better for trails.

I haven't hade a Polaris 550 but when I had a ski doo 550 gearing it down actually worked, just checked and it is quite high geared compared to the skidoo, so gearing it down could maybe be something to think about. Do you know the hp number for that engine?
