2015 155 3 inch track concerns.

hey guys, any constructive input would be great, I have just installed avid drivers and a 3 inch camo track on my 2015 pro rmk 155, I have several concerns as i just put it on, 1, track tensioners are maxed out and track tention is perfect but i assume it will stretch a bit being brand new..? 2, cant get the limiter much tighter so how will i control the ski lift while climbing? 3, is the smaller avid drivers good enough in terms of lower gear ratio or should i use a gear down kit as well? Motor is bone stock. Any comments from others that have done these mods would be great.

Well I know with the avid drivers you can run it alot looser than your stock track was. But I'm sure some more knowledgeable people will chime in to help you

Installing 156" track with 7t drivers where a 155" track and 8t drivers were installed could be an issue with track tension. Maybe others with some miles on this set-up can chime in. My 3" track is a 162 on 163 rails so I have plenty of adjustment.
As for the limiter strap....thats not adjustable at all. You control ski lift with the front track shock and rear track shock preload adjustment. It will take some time to get it dialed in right. The 7t drivers is a good gear down option, I felt like it was pretty close to perfect.

Big wheel kit solves the problem! I don't think you want to run it really loose. Even with 7 tooth drivers the 3" is still pretty tight for clearance up front.

Thanks

Thanks for the info guys, I never thought about the Clearence up front relative to track tension, I will try a longer bolt in the tensioner as there is still .75 inch left in the rail slot. And I may try the z broz kiss coupler system for the rear skid. Anyone used it?

Just put 8" wheels on the stock axle.
Gives more tensionability.
Helps keep the front end down while keeping the playfulness of the stock skid.
Cheap too. :)
