2014 800 Pro Engine, hard time to believe this

I just installed a PAR head and HPS Silencer on my sled, anyways once the head was remove I couldn't believe what I saw, I pushed the piston forward and backward then side to side the wall clearance between the piston and cylinder is insanely huge, I never seen so much play in any engine, you can actually see the ring when you push he piston against the wall,

that's not all when the piston is all the way down, the play is so huge that you can actually tilt the piston putting all the stress on the skirt of the piston

this got me to worry a lot, there's no way this design can be reliable rings are way to expose and the skirt will eventually break, I know the piston does get actually bigger when the sled warms up but the piston should have been design bigger, I'm going to order a fix kit for sure when I get the money, this got me convince to buy one

I'll probably post a video my buddy took a video,

Pretty unbelievable to see in person! That's for sure.
I put my fix kit in at 1990 miles... gained 10psi compression, and a warm fuzzy feeling

I bought a brend new 2014 800 PRO and put a MTNTK fix kit in right from the start before I even took it home.

what are the best kit to get that problem fix? I would like to change just to a tighter fit piston with maybe some ports to oil better the cylinder I don't want to increase compression to high so that I need to run a fuel controller or race gas

Piston to cylinder clearance is measured at the skirt, not the top. Pistons have a big taper from top to bottom.

Rkt sells direct replacement pistons much better piston and they have the holes for better oiling in them

--Just get new oem pistons under warranty - there awesome:face-icon-small-dis

RKT and Bikeman both sell Wossner brand piston kits--one of the best brand pistons you can get

You're describing the rk tek fix... The woosner pistons are sexy. I've got the drop in kit in mine and the lady has his spec woosners. Hers holds temp a lot better now instead of spiking way up when there's not a lot of snow or even idling.
