2013 Suspension options?

Glad I swapped my a-arms out before the season after seeing that. Glad you were ok something about glue and suspensions just doesn't make me feel good. I went with Timbersled stock replacement aarms. They are welded and look a lot stronger then the OEM ones but are the same dimensions so they are a direct replacement.

What did your dealer say about it. since it's a 13 it should be covered under warranty. Specially since the glue let go. The was even a recall early last year about certain sleds not having the A arms glued properly. If the dealer can see that the glue didn't hold that should be the start and hopefully you have a good dealer that will go to bat for you.At least get your sled running first then do the after market.

Mine came unglued too this past sunday!!! I called the dealer they are going to try to get it covered!!!

100% covered. they even covered all the plastics and exhaust baffle that were damaged in the process. The dealer took my warranty credit and put it against the aftermarket parts as I refused to have the stock put back on look into it you may only pay like $50-$100 for a set of aftermarket A-Arms doing it that way. I had $2500 in warranty credit :thumb:

Figured I would give a ride report. the Raptor shocks are amazing not I really have motivation to get my skid put together. The 36" A-arms need some getting used to they are awesome but boy is this thing skinny now I kept washing out doing donuts because I was just pulling over to much and we all know these sleds take nothing to tip over. I think these A-Arms are going to be amazing also just need to get used to them. Going out for another ride tomorrow will comment on them again after.

Second day out got used to the sled being narrow and loved it. Best investment for sure along with the shocks. Broke into a zone with a big group first sleds of the year in rode some amazing champagne pow suck a sick day. at the end of the day on the ride out heard a weird squeak from the left shock looked down and its up against the upper A-Arm so i get off take a look and the lower A-Arm is bent/ ripped open like a tuna can no idea how this happened as I struck nothing all day, Baby the sled out as we didn't want to have to Heli out 2 sleds today 2012 cat had a jack shaft failure. get home at 7PM email Dan from Alternative Impact with in minutes got a reply back all I can say is top notch customer service. Hoping to have a replacement up to me by the weekend if everything works out.

Yeah the Titanium wasn't my choice I wouldn't have ordered it for that reason but the dealer messed up and didn't ask me so I got stuck with it im just going to swap the pieces out with chromalloy as the TI breaks.

Just happy it was only this bad and not a full on break at least I was able to ride out.

If you talk to your dealer they may do what mine did and replaced it with aftermarket. Depends on the route you want to take thou. I refused having the glued A-Arms put back on.

To get the thread back on topic Dan was awesome to deal with he made me up a new arm yesterday and shipped it out so ill be driving down to bellingham hopefully friday to pick it up and then ride some of this awesome pow we are getting hit with this week, while the sleds been down we had time to pull the skid and install the KMOD conversion over two nights we had it done just need to Call them after I write this I figure something out as we think we may have done something wrong or just cant figure out how to mount the rear arm.

Well managed to get it installed properly now just waiting on my replacement A-arm that should be in Bellingham on Friday.
