Anyone mounted a Polaris under-hood goggle bag on a 2013?

Might be bad info, but was told that it didn't work on the 13's, I have no idea never had one previous, but there is a difference with the carbon fiber I think where it mounts.

Did you re-locate the main wiring harness connector from the hood? It looks like the connection is right where the bag is supposed to go on the 13's.

There is a new bag for the 13's its only diff is there is no metal rod, the rod would slide thru the holes on the over structure of the 2012 model, since the 2013 is carbon fiber there are no holes, just remove the rod and you can pop it right in. There is sappose to be a new bag for the 2013 but i used one for the past models and works and fits great
I have last years bag too. The rod appeared to be there to keep the loaded bag from dropping onto or getting too close to the muffler. So there is no need for the rod? Could you zip ty it up?

I didn't have a 2012 so unfamiliar how it installed last year, went to pick one up and Parts dude said it wouldn't fit (must have been for lack of effort/creativity on his part) last years PN crosses to the 13'

I put one on a 13, the instructions show the 13 carbon fiber stucture. They give you a extra rubber pad to put on the rod and it just sits behind the carbon fiber pipe. The hook that goes toward the front says to use the hole, but there is none. I guess they forgot that it is carbon fiber too. I used some zip ties to attatch it to the front.
Can you post pics. I will be putting one on my 13.

Ok there not the greatest but they should help was in a hurry 
Just wrap the extra of the strap around the over structure and then put the hook in the drain hole
And then use the bolt and the push dart that holds the hood on on the two holes, (finger is where the dart goes)
And the electrical connection for the hood still mounts on top of the bag pretty easy just mess with it to make it work

I just put this bag on my 13... the long hook strap that goes toward the front, there is a hole for it but its on the inside of the tube rather than the outside on the 11/12. i didnt use the rod and i really dont see that its needed. also where cjfox used the bolt i used one of the plastic darts/rivets instead.. worked great and is lighter plus it makes it much easier to install/uninstall if necessary.

Bag I got must be for a 12. The pictures SUCK. Too dark and can't see anything at all.
I ziptied the flexible rod to the far carbon over-structure. No "weld hole" of course, as it says there is in the directions.
I think I figured it all out though and is almost just exactly what I see in your pics...
Although I turned that bolt upside down and put the nut on from the outside so the bolt doesn't hit my goggles. I'll have to think about whether I like it that way or not.
The tab where your finger is...I put that on the underside so the push dart goes into it last. I'll try it on the outside like you are showing, but I don't know if that will impede the hood or not. Will find out tomorrow when I go futz with it some more.

I just bent the rod back to where the tubes are glued together and hooked in the connector. Works good.
