I just went into the dealer and asked for the seat with the red on it. They took the black one they had in the store and switched it out off one of their sleds for sale.
The 13 seat needs the 13 bracket on either an 11 or 12 IF you want the same stock seat height. The 13 seat WILL fit on an 11 or 12 seat bracket. It IS 1-1/4'' lower as stated in a prior post. I know this. I have both. For me, the 13 seat with the stock 11 bracket is the best of both worlds. A shorter seat that is a little lower in the back so my sawed off little legs can throw over better. Some may not like or need this so then the wonderful thing about this is you can either washer it as stated in an earlier post or buck up and buy the 13 bracket. I hope this helps.
Here is a picture of my 2013 seat, with the 2012 bracket, unbolted from the tunnel. It sits above the tunnel 3/8ths of an inch. You hardly even have to push down on it to bolt it down.

I am calling BS, I would like to see the entire seat and measurement in a pic, not just the measurement. Cause like I said above my post was 1 1/4" lower than my 13 seat. Something is not right here.
I think you are putting a lot weight on the back of the seat to get this measurement.

Why the fiuck would I put a lot of weight on the seat? I was just trying to add to the thread with what I have. Here is a picture of the seat, and of the post that came with the seat, right behind the 2012 post. Don't know what else to tell/show you.
