hmmm, interesting as that is the same number they used for the 12. i expect some increase. i wonder where their info came from and if that number holds up through the dealer's meeting on march 5.

What do you mean hope? Did you read the thread... it isn't $14,500, don't worry.


As for the "more in Orlando." I think they are just saying they have more to reveal in general... like the trail sleds, touring sleds, snowcheck info, prices, warranties, etc, etc. Probably nothing pertaining to the RMK chassis.

Don't know how every one got so blinded by the contest msrp. I think that people were so excited about the changes that everyone KNEW that the new updates would increase the price. To do that much changing and NOT increase the price is amazing for polaris.

Price was misleading because it said MSRP. I've never heard of a trip or prize package price referred to as MSRP.....If they were talking about the sled and the cost of the trip they should of worded it like....total prize package worth 14500....not Manufactures Suggested Retail Price. Holtels dont say MSRP when pricing 3 nights stay with continental bfast and cable TV. That said I'm stoked to get one of theses this fall!

Or maybe Polaris was testing the waters to see how we would handle the shock factor of $14500 and used the contest to adjust the MSRP price as needed.... I think we did a great job going from having to have that sled no matter what all week to screw that in a matter of minutes.. LOL

For ANY contest that involves a prize... the value of that prize IN TOTAL must be stated for tax purposes... somewhere in the fine print. This is true of a new sled, a new truck etc.

The price shown in the contest is "US contest estimated value based off of MY12 MSRP of sled: $11,799"
