2013 Pro Gauge problems

So for the past month or so I've been having increasingly frequent problems with getting my gauge to display what I want. I normally have the thing set to display speed on top and temp in the middle, though sometimes I like to switch it to tach in the middle. The problem I'm having is that I am unable to change any function in the gauge to any other setting... if I want to switch the bottom from hours (which seems to be the default) to mileage or the trips, it won't do anything. Then, if I press up to switch the middle temp display to something else, the stupid thing will go into the recording/play back mode and display some kind of a TPS setting too... I can get back out of that to the normal screen, but that's all I can do, I cannot check my mileage or switch temp for tach or anything. Trying the toggle switch on the console, or the buttons on the gauge itself makes no difference. The gauge still displays speed and temp (or whatever I happen to get on the screen at the time) accurately, I just can't change it when I want to... it seems to be sheer luck if I can get it to change or not and it's been getting worse the past few weeks. I managed to get the trip meter reset before the last ride this weekend, but I cannot check it or the total miles either since it's stuck on hours...

Also earlier this season I was noticing a large amount of condensation inside the gauge behind the screen, I'm wondering if this might have something to do with it.

I hate to say it but I think it's time for a new $400 gauge... ideas????? Anybody else had these symptoms????

LOVE the sled other than that... Thanks!

I had a crack in the top of the gauge where the rubber gasket holds it in (only had condensation once ) I fixed it up with a layer of silicone and some wraps of electrical tape ,make sure you use lots soap to get it to slide back in to place ( installed a gauge lifter ). I didn't have the electrical issues but could see it creating issues if it shorted.the machine will run without the gauge if you run into problems.

OK this may sound a little simple and a far- far reach- but have you unplugged and plugged back in the harness to the back of the gauge?
Sometimes something so simple can be overlooked.

Nope, haven't tried that yet... but I did discover yesterday that if I hold the brake on, I can scroll through the tach/temp/max speed, but the select buttons (both gauge and console) still wont do anything except by chance, and the one time it did respond, it changed everything into metric! Now I'm pulling about 70 KM/H track speed and running about 50*C, LOL... but since I can't get it to change to anything but hours, I can't get it to the mileage indicator so I can change it back to U.S. measurements.....:face-icon-small-dis

Kinda funny looking down to the speedometer and seeing it read 70 as I'm climbing, haha.
