2013 Pro Front Shock Length / Bolt Size

I have a 2013 Pro, I want to put my 2012 Fox Zero Pro shocks on the front.

What is the length of the 2013 shock ? I know it's longer, will the additional length cause a problem.

Can the Zero Pro's be shotened ?

What size bolt is in the lower shock mount, the 2012 is 10mm ?

2013 is 16.6

2012 is 17.5

Bolt is 8 mm on the bottom of the 13

This is the same difference basically that kept guys (me included) from slapping the Assault Walkers on the Pros. That inch seems to be a big enough difference to mess up geometry. I'm sure some guys will do it either way, and probably won't have problems, but not worth the risk if so to me. I would say if anyone can shorten them (Fox), if it's worth the effort, it would be Carl's in Boise. Give them a ring.

P.S. Shortening them will loose you that much travel, so then what would be the real gain...
