2013 pro 800 turbo. fix kit or big bore?

I am not having any issues yet but I have about 1000 miles on my turbo pro and I do not want to wait for engine failure. From what I understand the 13 has a redesigned motor that is better than the 11/12.

I am looking for input from the experts in this area. I read that Vohk Is having good luck with the 858 big bore in his turbo sleds. Is it even needed on a 13 engine? I feel that if I am going to spend money on changing pistons I might as well do a big bore and increase power.

I had Erik (Vohk) buid me a turbo this year and his 858 with pretty much same turbo setup you have ran awesome when he took us out for a test ride. I think it would be awesome combo and if possible, get it to Erik so he can tune and install…Although you might be a long waiting list for the 858, I’ve had my other sled there for a month and the cylinders aren’t back from Kelsey.

Good Luck!

It depends on how much money you want to spend freshening the motor up. If you just replace reeds and pistons it will be more affordable than getting new cylinders head and all the business that a big bore entails. With that being said if you want more out of the sled you could do a big bore. I am running a Carl's 900 big bore turbo that vohk built for me. I have also ridden a vohk built 858 turbo. They insanely fast. I will say I am more impressed with the 858 turbo than my 900 turbo as well.

What kit is he putting on the BB's. Boon docker or is it something custom. I currently have a 858 RKT kit right now and am considering turboing it.
