2013 Husqvarna TE

I have a 2013 Husqvarna Super Moto that I would like to install a ST Timbersled kit on it. Timbersled has a fit kit for the bike, but from what I understand they made a special frame that is mounted to the Timbersled tunnel. It is no longer available. Does anybody have any experience converting a normal Timbersled frame to fit a Husky. Any help would be appreciated. I am willing to fab a frame I just want to know what is all involved. If someone could take pictures of the Husky frame compared to a standard Timbersled tube frame.

I think maybe you're misunderstanding something perhaps?

The TE (at least the ones I ride with) is the same from 13 to 15, I've got a TE300 that's a snowbike.

All you need is the fit kit, no big deal. any of the track kits will work, then just get the fit kit that is for your specific bike. My buddy's 13 TE3 will use the same fit kit mine has.

Since you have a 2013 te it should be a 449 or 511, 2013 was the last year before the ktm takeover. The 449/511 models were a completely different design from traditional bikes and required a special timbersled kit that had to be pre ordered.

There was a husky dealer in montana that bought a few kits and might have a lead on one? Cant remember the dealership name at the moment, but there aren't that many husky dealers in MT, so it should be fairley easy to narrow it down.

If that doesn't work maybe try putting a want to buy on cafehusky.com in the classifieds. The anti spammer screen has been working overtime there lately so if you have problems getting through let me know and i'll make sure you get in. Same user name as here.

I have a 2012 TE 511. I got a great deal on a new in crate 2015 ST kit.
I removed the standard frame rail, and got Timbersled to make me a frame for the Husky. They still have the jigs for manufacture. The replacement frame is wider to fit into the CTS suspension. The ends are threaded to accept the bolts. I was going to butcher the standard frame, and adapt the standard frame to fit the Husky, but decided not to. Note: Frame will not work on the 2016 kits. The positive part is that I have the standard frame still, so can swap out, and it will fit any bike with a new fit kit.
