2013 fuel pump

I dropped in at CMX last week and Mark had me guessing. He threw me a fuel pump assembly box and said "whats in it". By the weight, I thought it was only the pickup assembly. Wrong, it was the full 2013 Pro pump assembly. It must be at least 2 lbs lighter than anything that came in an IQ or Pro chassis. The FPR is now located in line. It can easily be removed for those using a remote rising rate FPR. I would like to see the plastic pump housing available from PI.

I've been preaching this since the dragon days... The new pump is a more refined design.

The fuel pressure regulator "carrier" is very similar to the 2005/06 900 RMK's FPR carrier.

Looks like they made the fuel lines differently... maybe to deal with the crap fuel additives we have these days.

Inside the plastic mount/carrier, it looks like a walbro pump. The carrier has a locking mechanism on the lower half for removal, it looks like a mounting tab. We did not try to disassemble it. But that would be informative.
