It's been awhile since the first poll and we can't reset the results.

Last time I was under 20 miles with no issues. Now I am at 210 miles, still no issues and no fix yet. Riding Blue Lake tomorrow and I hope it stays that way.

I know of one that broke after 400 miles... I dont think there is a I got this many miles on I must be safe point. Anybody running without a fix is taking a risk.

There is two options the same, no failure after 50 miles.
Should this read no failure, 100 miles?

A little over 200 on mine now with no issues at all. I cant believe how responsive this sled is, even more so than my 12 Pro!
Loving it!!!

My dealer is about a 2 hour drive away. I haven't been notified that they have the collars in yet and I am one of the stubborn one's that feel I spend $14 000 on this sled and I'm not going to spend more to make it rideable. Once the collars are in, I will have it installed.

Phillybean,

Curious, with all the info out there ....why you are running without a collar?

Yup, that is what I meant. Can a mod change it?

Was your last sled a Red 06 Rev? That's what I'm coming off of as well. Night and day difference.

I had a 12 Pro last year and my 06 Rev before that, loved that Rev.
My buddy bought it from me and when I hop back on it I can't believe how much better the Pros work!

I hear ya... I'm one of the cheapest SOB's out there I just look at it as insurance against a very expensive heli lift out of the backcountry.

Besides.. the 4 hour round trip to the dealer for fuel and waiting while they do it. Get it inspected at the dealer...and have them install the PI collar... but don't let that keep you from riding your sled in the meantime with peace of mind.

IMO... with all the info that is at our disposal... don't take a chance... follow Polaris Industries recommendation in the service bulletin and get a collar on there (regardless of the maker)

I'd rather stand on a fully functional sled than stand on principal any day.

IMO, your riding season is worth it!

Fully functional and Polaris haven't hung out together in a long long time. :face-icon-small-con

I have over 200 miles on my 13 pro. 116 miles with no collar, and the remainder of the miles with the Happy Face collar. Just had my sled in McBride, BC with zero issues, I love my sled!

I tore 18 cogs off of my belt @ 225 miles and broke the shaft on the next ride. My sons sled made one more ride and broke the shaft 300 miles.

Almost 500 miles on my 13 Pro with no issues on the driveshaft or belt drive. The only issues have been user error. Got the collar put on last week and just waiting on a part to correct the user error situation.

Neither sled had collars. We had both sleds @ Wenatchee Powersports (polaris dealer) they installed a belt on mine, charged me $200 until they get authorization from Polaris to warranty it. We asked them if they had any collars to install, they said they had 3 in stock, but wanted to save them for their showroom sleds or for customers who bought sleds from them. My shaft failed on the next ride.

I dont blame them, you should be putting pressure on the place you bought yours for collars. Why didnt you take them to where they were purchased in the first place?
