2013 carbon fiber peices

I couldn't tell you for sure how thick, but I know the bumpers are really thin, I'm actually amazed they last as long as they do.

I was under the impression that they are carbon wrap on aluminum tubing.

The bumpers? They are the real deal carbon fiber. And very thin walled, and very brittle. All the 155 guys here snap them off while tail standing their sleds. As does anyone who throws a rope around them and attempts to tow a dead sled.

wouldnt be much weight saving if it was carbon wrapped. but i could be wrong

The support pieces on the 13's are also real cf. But, they shouldn't take the side hits like a bumper does. I think they will work out well. It'll be interesting to look at them after a few good tumbles down a hill and after digging out from a few tree wells.

I know the bumpers are carbon only, I've got three of them on the shelf. I was just thinking I had read that the new support tube's were wrapped alum. I sure could be wrong tho.
