2013 BD Pro with Low End Hesitation

Tried putting the numbers to where Catmydoo suggested and it cleaned up the bog. Guess I have to eat crow about knowing how to tune these things! What numbers are you running on the rest of the set up Catmydoo?

Interesting. I looked at my numbers last night and I am def richer than he was. I may try those numbers this weekend. Glad to hear i helped out. BTW, pretty sure the almond/red is a 165/310.

I had the same rich bog on the bottom end. Almost have it completely tuned out. So far I have -1 pulled from the low in extra menu. Also pulled some numbers from 4500 and 5500 RPM in the 33-66 area (cant remember numbers atm).

If you are running the almond spring that came with the kit pull it out and toss it in the trash. Install a pink team spring and it will raise engagement up to proper level making tuning a lot easier.

Glad I could help! Like I said I don't know if it was the right way to go about things but it worked for me. I will check the rest of my numbers next time i'm in my shop. I have been playing with my ACEL settings and it has also made a difference. I have changed nothing in my XTRA.

What kind of engagement Rpm are you seeing with the pink spring?

13 box must be different then last years box. my numbers are alot different and i dont see where you guys are tuning some parts of your box

this is pretty off topic but im glad this forum has good members that share information with others to try to resolve issues... Glad you got rid of your bog!

What kind of engagement Rpm are you seeing with the pink spring?

With 70 gram polaris weights and pink spring engagement is around 4450 and settles too 4250. These are rpms after the spring settles in.

Engagement is still low enough to creep through tight trees and sidehills but spools up quick and smooth.

Vertical, What kind of boost you running? I have 74's in mine right now and I have a set of 76's on order. I plan to grind the heel into the middle of the 76 down to a 74, making a heavy tip 74. I came from cat turbos where the clutching was a lot easier to come by. I think with that combo the pink spring would be sweet.

What boost you running and what size turbo?

Im 2863 Tial with intercooler. 150/310 with 72s and 54/46. Spin 8400rpm everywhere. That 11lbs. Prob going to try 74s soon

10-70's for now. Running 10lbs at altitude and spinning 8400. Have a set of 10-72 to throw in to settle down the rpm a little more. Might bring a set of 10-74's and flip to the other angle in the helix and see what happens.
