They never made a light weight 2 stroker before they went to 4 strokes. Why would they start now?
Ken....
Just wishful thinking.

Let's all hold our breath ! NOOOTTT ! Yamaha hasn't delivered in years LOL.
Well you did fail the sensitivity course and lets face it you are a negative SOB, so you must have deserved it. I hope you can get over the trauma.

New Rumor heard this morning.
Among other things...
Yamaha will be offering the Supercharger and Turbocharger that was introduced this past Fall as a factory installed option on Snow Checked sleds.

Maybe Yamaha could fix some of there problems for 2012 that would be a start:
- Seal front nose cone and plastics so they don't fill up with snow and save the owner from constantly buying silicone,
- Vents over side panels should come with flow rite already installed
- Front A-Arm and spindels with bushings that don't wear out after a few rides
- Handwarmers that work
- A head light that isn't a snow scoop so you can boondock @ night, after all it's suppose to be a mountain sled!
- Handle bar post that are at least in the right position for standing
- Stock running boards that just don't fold after some extensive riding
Just a few starting points, still a great product though IMO.
Since I have no personal interest in the Turbo option, I haven't been following it. What issues have they been having with it??lets hope the turbo option is fixed...it is NOT a successful release...The SC, has been doing as advertised though...
They do take on some snow don't they.Maybe Yamaha could fix some of there problems for 2012 that would be a start:

Haven't seen that as an issue yet.- Vents over side panels should come with flow rite already installed
So far so good on mine.- Front A-Arm and spindels with bushings that don't wear out after a few rides
Just replaced mine this week!- Handwarmers that work
ALWAYS covered in snow!!- A head light that isn't a snow scoop so you can boondock @ night, after all it's suppose to be a mountain sled!
Thank God for aftermarket correction kits.- Handle bar post that are at least in the right position for standing
Their OEM Boards are HORRIBLE.- Stock running boards that just don't fold after some extensive riding
[/QUOTE]Nothing wrong with making a great product better.Just a few starting points, still a great product though IMO.

Exactly!!hit the nail on the head. 6-7 years ago I got excited. Now dont' even bother to get pumped up for disappointment.
