New Rumor heard this morning.

Among other things...

Yamaha will be offering the Supercharger and Turbocharger that was introduced this past Fall as a factory installed option on Snow Checked sleds.

Nitro 2012 Changes

Maybe Yamaha could fix some of there problems for 2012 that would be a start:
- Seal front nose cone and plastics so they don't fill up with snow and save the owner from constantly buying silicone,
- Vents over side panels should come with flow rite already installed
- Front A-Arm and spindels with bushings that don't wear out after a few rides
- Handwarmers that work
- A head light that isn't a snow scoop so you can boondock @ night, after all it's suppose to be a mountain sled!
- Handle bar post that are at least in the right position for standing
- Stock running boards that just don't fold after some extensive riding

Just a few starting points, still a great product though IMO.

lets hope the turbo option is fixed...it is NOT a successful release...The SC, has been doing as advertised though...

I have no blue in my veins...but in defense of blue...those issues are probably true of most manufacturers...

Since I have no personal interest in the Turbo option, I haven't been following it. What issues have they been having with it??

They do take on some snow don't they.

Haven't seen that as an issue yet.

So far so good on mine.

- Handwarmers that work
Just replaced mine this week!

ALWAYS covered in snow!!

- Handle bar post that are at least in the right position for standing
Thank God for aftermarket correction kits.

Their OEM Boards are HORRIBLE.
But I LOVE the new Skinz Air Frames.
FABULOUS BOARDS like none other!

Just a few starting points, still a great product though IMO.
[/QUOTE]Nothing wrong with making a great product better.

It is not a very well set up system, and is not producing the power it is claiming to...

One example, the Wastegate Actuator should be set for appropriate tension to ensure you are not getting boost bleed, otherwise you will get sluggish performance when you are on and off the throttle..i.e. it will feel like you are having to spool up each time...

lots and lots of little things like that, which is just an example of a turbo builder who does not have experience in this space...(they have some limited experience with 2 strokes but not 4's) internally for Yammie, it has been a struggle because of inventory supplies from Push etc. etc. etc.

Here is a thread on the comparison from a friend..
