2012 Switchback Assault Suspension

I have about 50 miles on my sled now and the suspension is way to soft in the rear!! I can almost bottom it out by pushing on the rear bumper, This is not good. Also the sled is very hard to crave in snow and it will not lift the skis.

I have no idea what I’m at when it come to this stuff, I usually just max everything out and ride but I would like to set this one up proper. I tied the max-sled setup minus relocating the mounting to the upper hole (see below for current set-up)and it useless PLEASE HELP!!!!

What I have done now:

Front shocks with max minus 1” of preload, dampening clicked in at 6.
Front of rear suspension spring preload at half way, 2 clicks of dampening.
Rear torsion springs at medium, 6 clicks of dampening

What I want!!

- good off trail performance, easy to carve, and lift the ski's
- good for jumps, drops, yes-mams, etc
- not worried about trail riding as we don’t have groomed trails in my area and everything is like a race track.

I'm 160lbs plus gear, does anyone have a solution for my problem? I would like it if someone could give me to "suspension for dummies" on this. tell me what preload to set, what number on the clicker, etc for each shock.

your help is greatly appreciated

You are quite a bit softer than stock in the rear with your clickers. My SBA was 8 for the rear and 6 I think for the FTS

You also should only uave the torsions on soft for your weight.

I had both of mine revalved, softer, as I will never be able to use all te adjustment.

Revalve them is really the only option. I tried many different things and it just came down to the valveing was way to soft.once you get it valved for your weight it is a whole different animal. Don't know what Polaris was thinking sending the SBA out with such soft shocks.
