What the difference from 2012 wiring to a 2015 wiring is it just the tps?

2012 two individual regulator/rectifier one on overstructure one on clutch guard

2013-15 one unit encompasses both r/r on clutch guard

Stator wiring is different because of this

Kill switches are in different locations/ wires different lengths

New for new, stock for stock-- yes.

Ridden, worn out 2012 vs virtually new 2015-- yes.

Cheap 2012 that you can modify for the same money as new 2015--hmmmm...


Depends on what you want to do. I bought back my 2012 from insurance company, put in an Indy Specialties TMX3long rod motor (3 year warranty), already had it re-geared 19-46 and TRS clutching and it will outperform stock 2015 for less money and a better no BS warranty.

I also rode the 2016 Axys Pro RMK.

My .02...

Get the 2012 cheap, ride it, Snowcheck a 2016, sell the 2012 (if you must) and put the money towards the AXYS.

Well i have a 15 and i got is brand new for 7800 guy got a devorce and had to sell it. And i am making my own turbo kit and i see some one had a fuel controller and ebc for sale for cheap but i will buy new

Yea i couldnt pass it up cant u make a controller work from a different year or should i just buy larger injectors and o with the boondocker box with the ebc
