Does anybody have any information on these service bulletins. I just discovered them when I was checking my vin# on purepolaris vin checker.

S-12-01 - 2012 RMK OIL HOSE INSPECTION

S-12-01A - 2012 RMK OIL HOSE STRAP REPAIR

Are these Service Bulletins something that Polaris would send a mailer out to you for? Or just a "word of mouth" thing, where if you heard about it they would do something about it??

I just got the call from the dealer regarding a oil line re-rout recall
You have a good dealer. My experience in the past has been they will send you a card only if they think they will get sued for something. :canada:

I have dealt with many dealers and finally found this one, they are 3 hours from home, and was not the best price for the new sled but they will take care of you after the sale and always have.

I have a 11 pro and I got a factory notice in March of 12 for this recall. Took it into Carl's 1 day in November and picked it up the next.

The line in question runs off of the oil pump and toward the throttle bodies. The dealers have been instructed to ensure they aren't touching the bulkhead, if the line is touching they will remove the zip tie, pull line away from the bulkhead and secure with another zip tie. As long as yours hasn't been touching or doesn't have a great deal of wear the dealer doesn't need to be involved.

I took mine in and dropped it off yesterday for the Service Bulletin. I also have an issue happen about 4 -5 times where running fast down the trail the engine cuts out for a second. This happens just getting back into the trottle or coming off the throttle. I was around 7700 RPM the one time It happened and I thought to look. I am wondering if it is throttle cable adjustment or TPS issue.

Dealer contacted me one day before the bulletin arrived. They checked mine out and said it was all good no rubbing. Having a good dealer is so nice I could tell you one great story after another about these guys. Weller Recreation outside Kamas UT. They are Ski Doo experts but also carry Polaris and Yamaha.

Injector?

I had a similar issue last year with mine, and it turned out to be a bad injector. Maybe something worth looking into.
