2012 PRO 600 temp shut off

Just in cause any 600 Pro owner want to know at what temp the sled will shut itself down at...its 210 degrees.

First ride, within first 5 minutes a couple of weeks back.

get a little higher, off the trail, and in a little better snow 126 degree all day. Guess I'll use the scrappers next time.

Sweet sled and big imporvement from my 97 Polaris Indy SKS. 40 miles in three months, California sucks

i see temps of 200-210 often on my 800. Still going strong. But yes, that is the area that it starts going into limp mode. Only happens on the tight slow single track trails heading up into the mountians. can't run over about 10mph on them and generally rock hard. Scratchers help, but not much. Any other conditions, no problem staying under 150ish. Decent snow, under 130.

120 is where the thermostat opens, on 600s assuming 800 is the same

the pro's do not have a front exchanger like the base rmk, sometimes weight savings has its disadvantage.

Lack of speed is the biggest problem. I can run down a plowed road and keep it below 150 degrees (although the hyfax is a huge problem in those conditions), but have trouble keeping it below 180 or 190 on a 5 to 10 mph trail that has powdery snow on it.
