Randy, that chute has your name all over it... only 700 meters down the ridge from the TS 6 chute (The Chute of TERROR) i DID.. Very few could even consider it.. I was scared of it, until I looked down from the top and realized it would be easy to stick the sled if the tight hard left corner scrubs off too much speed... maybe next weekend or 2 or 3, lets get Jim and Dixon and a few others over here and wreck it again after we try this weekend.. probably 45 chutes to climb in the Ladybird Norns range, over 12 never tried before... we'll see if there are any left after this weekend, but I have never seen such good consistant coverage in the Norns range without huge cornices on top of the best chutes...
ur right dan, you should wait till may when there will be a river flowing in the middle like last year!!!!!!
note to self....next time...take gravol before even viewing the pictures

just wanted to say sorry to all those who traveled to CASTLEGAR. What a $hit show. my cell phone died second after the Mainjet sled, then there was cold seezed pistons, blown cranks, cracked spiders, jugs and pistons blown, det scensors failing, sleds flailing down chutes, huge wrecks, chopper rescues, and only 12 cool climbs 3 first ascents, a first attempt at the TOP Secret Passage, First Skidoo over the Chute of TERROR... Thanks to those who attended and supported this event... No one died nor was seriously injured.. Thank God
my perspective is very poor without PICS...
Glad ya all made it back to your families in good health..

most snow in the koots since 1956. 100cms more then last year not to far from where dans riding. think i rode the norns with well over 8 feet of snow in late june last year.

only between 12 and 14 feet left.... stats on the weekend, Chute of Terror 4 riders 1, Angrier Pirate up the norns 1 riders 2, BIG Monster up the norns zero Twisted Turbos 1,top secret passage 1 riders 0 Frenchie and his Top Secret Shop turbo Skidoo slayed everything he set his sled at, way 2 ride it FRENCHIE, good to see you and Angel again... Hope Heidi will post some pics for us

LOL.....this is a bad sign already if the riders are loosing this competition
It was a bit of a sh$t show, but all in all we had a great time. I think the economy should be recovering after this weekend of carnage. I was happy with getting the one chute done after looking at it the last 5 times I have been there.
