2012 assault fouling plugs

Mine fouled six sets five last year and one this year just got new injectors put in on Thursday will find out if that is the problem next week!!

Is it possible to re use a fouled plug by sanding and cleaning it? Or is it a throw away? What actually happens to a fouled plug??

TPS settings won't foul only one plug consistently; definitely would get a spark tester and load test the coils.

The Polaris ECU mapping engineer needs to be run off! The injectors are mapped individually so that could be an issue on all the pro sleds. Fuel mapping has been a big issue in the past on the CFI-4 engines.

ok..most likely its due to to much oil(someone added to much to the fuel),,but if your thru the oiled fuel on break in and it fouls plugs out of the blue, then take it to the dealer and ask them to verify the tps setting..a tps set wrong can cause fouled plugs...where I noticed this is start sled , load on trailer, drive to riding area and start, plug fouled on start up and wont pick up that cylinder until you change plugs..then runs perfect again..
I had that happen 1 time, exactly like you mention. Load sled, drive all over then start sled 24hrs later, fires at first and dies, cant get it going, both plugs fouled. Change plugs and runs great all weekend over 200miles hard running.

Well, my input probably means nothing, but we had a 500xcsp that fouled plugs bad and found out that when a polaris oil pump goes out it sticks open and lets lots of oil into the engine(better than none at all tbh) but uses lots of oil and fouls plugs faster. Not sure if this is even a possible issue with the new pros but thought I'd give it a go and hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong.(do polaris' these days even have oil pumps anymore? lol!)

Let's see.....I would check the rings. I was fouling plugs consistently and so was one other guy not to mention some others at an aftermarked go fast parts company. Tear it apart and what did we find? Chipped/flaking rings where the intake transfer ports are. Some piston damage too but I think I went through at least $100.00 in plugs before I broke down and had the top end tore down and then rebuilt. I really hope I am wrong about your sled but then again, I was hoping "they" were wrong about mine and I ended up with, new injectors, new reeds, new pipe sensor, checked tps, checked plug wires......... Wasted money. Good luck and please post if you get it fixed. Seems Polaris is seeing this issue a little bit but blaming it on go fast parts....which is bs but voids your warranty and that is all they care about.

By the way, too much fuel/oil fouls plugs, too little spark fouls plugs, and loss of compression fouls plugs. If you have checked the other two, only compression is left and my sled had 107 and 104 respectively when we tore it apart to find the ring/piston damage. I was correctly informed that running compression is at least 4 times higher so even if your rings hold compression during a test, it doesn't mean they will when running.
