2012 assault 1.75

I have a 2012 SBA and I bought the 2.0 track and the different gears as well. My question is- how much of a difference will a person feel by moving the suspension to that upper hole. I have very few post on this. The few that have posted say it is a night and day difference. Anyone else want to chime in on this? Thanks

You'll notice alot less wheelieing and more ski pressure for sure. I noticed it. It also climbs better and gets on top of the snow better... For deep snow boondocking it's a must IMO. It didn't handle the moguls as well but it's a good trade I think.

Thanks for the info tdblakes. I don't do much trail riding. Mostly going out west. My first thought was with more ski pressure it would effect the way the sled goes in the powder but you say it it better. I figured since I will have it out, I might as well move it up.

Yea and it's predrilled, at least it was on my '11 so why not. If you don't like it you can always put it back. Btw if you feel it's harder to roll over, turn up your front track shock spring. That'll help it lay over better. You'll just have to find the balance between handling and climbing up on top of the snow that you like... :face-icon-small-coo

I've personally seen the Polaris series 4 2" 144" long tracks go 3,000 miles with occasional trail use. I also don't like the fact that the BC is a single ply track. That would explain top end speed gains over a 2" but I doubt it over a Cobra depending on conditions.

Defiantly regear. I'd like to find a 2" Series 4 track for my SBA. I loved it on my RMK.
