2011 RMK 600 Electrical problems

Today i starting have an issue with my sled has 350 miles on it. I didnt seem to be running quite right seem to have a slight hesitation in the mid range and they when running full throttle and top speed i would let off and my lights would go off and display also i would let the sled come to a stop it would still be running then i would just barely hit the throttle and the lights and display came back on. Trying to let it thaw out right now to check wires ect. Also i hit a tree yesterday and had hood belly pan damage in the frost left of the sled were the wiring harness is. Right now its packed with snow in there i didn't know if that would do anything or not.

This is my first sled to am new to these machines!

I thawed it out and checked all my electrical nothing seemed to be loose, started fine but haven't tested to see if it still shuts the lights off and digital screen after full throttle for a bit.



anyone have any ideas?

Still waiting on the dealer to call me back...

Since it runs the same voltage regulators as all the previous 2007+ CFi 4's it could be a regulator failure.

Check this post for some ideas (ground point, Relay etc)

It is under warranty... the dealer should have the parts to fix it...regardless of your tree rash.

I would love to see a picture of the numbers off your voltage regulator before you take it to the dealer.
