2011 PRO 800 with belt drive

Looking for quick advice regarding an 11' PRO 155 I am looking at. It has been swapped from the chain case to the belt drive. I looked at this sled this evening and it is clean with approx. 2200 miles on it.

I cannot find much info searching Google it seems on cost of this setup or if it works the same as what the 13's came with and now the 14's in regards to the belt drive. I am just coming off a 05' Arctic Cat M7 :face-icon-small-con

Thanks for any opinions or advice here.
Kyle

I'm not sure on what opinion/ advise your wanting?
Sounds like you have a polaris 13 belt drive on a 11? You'll be fine.

You either got a stock belt drive from 13
Or cmx drive
Or tki drive all of which will be fine, on the 13 polaris drive id carry another belt or switch to a 14 belt( supposed to be better)

Was just looking to see if this is a solid setup on a 2011 PRO pretty much. Not sure if it is a cmx drive or tki drive or the 13 polaris drive.

Thanks

I have the C3 belt drive on my 11. Once I figured out what tension to run the belt, it has been flawless. Belt gets tighter when it gets warm.

X2. Once you set the belt deflection, it's pretty much maintenance free!! I have mine off right now while installing my X3 track and the belt looks like new after 600 miles last year.

No tensioner, it's stock Polaris. If it has a tensioner it is CMX. Unless there is another brand of belt drive out there.

C3 has a tensioner.

I am also running ES so I installed a Phantom battery, Shorter height, lighter weight.

What difference did you notice after installing the belt drive?

It was totally my fault. I had the tension set to tight when it was in the shop but it worked fine. When I took it out, the belt got warm, and made a terrible noise, then started to toast the belt.
I installed a new belt, set it to correct tension, and haven't touched it since.
When the gear drive gets warm, the tension increases and belt gets tighter.
The tensioner is a manual adjust, not a spring loaded.
I would recommend the C3 drive. I also did the Avid drop and roll. It will clear my Camo Ex 2.5 and gives me room to install a 3" if I desire in the future.

Did you notice a performance difference? What gear ratio did you go with?

Ended up picking up this sled, it is clean and super excited about it. The belt drive is so new to me I dont know where to begin. One thing I did notice now that I had some time to really look at it sitting in my garage is the belt appeared to have a bit of wear on the top side of it. I reached my fingers to feel under neath the bottom in between the belt and the plastic of the body and there is barely any clearance. This is my guess with flexing and what not where the belt would be rubbing a bit. Any one notice this after installing a Polaris belt drive on an 11'? Any issue with that belt going south quick rubbing a bit if that is what it is doing?

Thanks

What do you have?????

You need to post up a photo of your drive in the first place.

At this point, we/you have NO idea what you have installed on your sled.

Any conversations without knowing for sure what you have is semantic.

Here is the picture of the setup, the best I can get with the phone anyway. let me know what you guys think. You cannot see the bottom where I was talking about but the belt is real close to the plastic on the bottom.
