Looks like they stayed with the same motor. This might be a good year to sit back and watch. Hopefully it dont snap in half like an XP. Hopefully for Poo, this will get some of the fence jumpers back on Polaris. It looks like a sweet sled, I wonder if Twin pipes will fit under there

President Day

I have been invited to give these a test ride Monday, Presidents day in Seely Lake, MT. All I have been told by the dealer that invited me is be ready, it is a light weight sled with more hp then the 2010 800.

Lucky you!! I may get to demo one in March sometime. I'm anxious to hear what you think of it.

Funny how the injection system is not specified beyond calling it a Cleanfire. I guess they're waiting for all the engineers to gather in one room so they can throw darts at cleanfire drawings posted to a wall to see what system gets the most hits.

What I want to know is if the front shock on the rear skid is ajustable and if they still have those junker drivers on them.. I hope they changed that out and put regular extrovert drivers on them.

I hope they upgraded the track from the 5.1 series, and went with extroverts also. I would rather see it with a 6 or 700, because I wont trust any 800 they build any time soon.

I agree, but I bet there will be a one-ply track again to help bring the weight down. A Camo Extreme is 5-6 lbs heavier than the 5.1.

I disagree on the extroverts, polaris knows how to get power to the track.

The tracks polaris uses are very good in many situations.

Many xp guys i ride with are running that 15'' track and shoud I say it( they go better than the stock 16'' tracks doo's comes with.

No pictures....that was the one stipulation and I was certainly was not going to argue when I was going to get to ride it. Looked exactly like the pics on the website with no markings tho...

Seen one in cooke a few days ago. Should be fun. Looks like my old man is getting back into the sport.

I told him he doesn't want to worry about first year issues....so he could buy it, and i would give him my 09 dragon...

HE didn't seem as enthused as i did. :face-icon-small-sho
