2011 Nytro MPI 180hp turbo???

I bought an 11 Nytro MTX with a MPI 180HP turbo kit on it this spring. Leaving on a trip DEC. 28th for Togwotee Mountain Lodge. I am familiar with an 08 Nytro which has a Ulmer Turbo kit on it but need some help with how to setup and tune this MPI kit. My Ulmer Turbo is pretty much plug and play with no tuning, just adjusting the boost controller and shockwave helix for elevation. Will I have to do any adjusting on the GEMS controller? How is the boost adjusted with the MPI? What do I need to look for with the clutching to see if its set for high or low elevation? Thanks, Tyler

Bought new nytro this fall. Enough trouble setting it. Bought the push kit. Removing MPI

To turn up/down the boost on the MPI turbo you will need to use the waste gate rod unless the person you bought it from installed a boost controller or the MPI boost "switch". I don't think you will need to mess with the GEMS settings (if you have an AFR you may be able to do some fine tuning)

As for clutching - if the installer followed MPI's recommendations you can look at the rivets in the primary to see what they went with (chart on page 9 of the install instructions)

At a minimum I think you will want a boost gauge if you don't already have one.
