How good do they seal? and how much do they really weigh?

mine is a 2010 and it seals great keeps everything dry, the weight im not sure it takes two people to put it on and off thats all i can tell you, but from seeing other decks and how they hold up and looks of them there is no question that the truckboss is the only way to go! spend the extra cash and you will not be disapointed.

There are a few things, there is no mait. like having to care for the wood or paint chipping, always have a clean new look, the way the sides slide in and out is awesome, i love being able to have the deck on all year and not having to worry about this big bulky thing hanging off and not being able to park in tight places, i like how the weather stays out and keep things dry, i go to the car wash and soak the hell out of the deck and not a drop of water gets in the inside. just all around the other guys i ride with have other brands there nice decks but just dont have all the features like the truckboss and there are some home made ones they got, yea they only spent 700 to build it but half way through the season and there falling apart. not trashing on anyone just what i think.

Great deck. Got mine in December 2010 and ride 35 days year. Really nice to keep the road grime out of the box. I can pull into the carwash and do a regular wash and bags packed to the tailgate are dry. Only seen snow blow in around the tail gate in one deep snow drive.

As far as weight goes i think they are around 435lbs with ramp. Do not regret the purchase. They look like a factory accessory. If you a in the market for a new deck do not hesitate to buy a truckboss. If you are worried about strength they now come standard with the 4 telescoping legs.
