2011 m8 BD pump gas turbo

Been thinking about getting a new sled my buddy has a 2011 m8 HCR with a boondocker pump gas turbo it also has an inner cooler. The sled has 1000 miles and he just put a new BDX lite drive in it. I haven't been able to see him ride it because he doesn't live here anymore but everyone else says its the best running turbo sled they've seen. What are people's thoughts on this sled. I heard the m8 was a great turbo sled. Just a little iffy on getting my first turbo. Any comments or tips would be great. I'd also be buying it for 8500$
