2011 Injector Question???

I've got a 2011 800. Its fouling plugs about every other time i start it. I've scoured the forums enough to see they had an injector issue that year. I'd like to replace the injectors but my local shop is saying polaris has none in stock until the 20th. Would rather not wait that long.

Does anyone know of another souce to get these?

I've also heard that some guys are putting 2012 bosch injectors in the 2012's. I hear this requies a reflash of the ECM to the 2012 program. My local shop knows nothing about how to do this.

Is this possible?

You want to run the yellow injectors and the best place i've found to get them is parts pit stop.com

Which injectors are you running now? If there red or blue then update to the yellows. Just buy the yellow for the 2011s, there quite a bit cheaper. I got mine from babbitts

I ended up getting some yellow injectors. Polaris is out of stock so I found a shop in Idaho that is shipping me a set. I looked at what is in there now and it is a yellow harness tape. I'm assuming it means I have the yellow injectors currently?

From what I understand they had a bad run of these back then and it may be my culprit. I've fouled more plugs on this thing in the last two weeks than my old ZX sled in ten years. I'm taking a bit of a stab in the dark as to if this is my real problem or not. They are relatively inexpensive and cheaper than the $100/hr diagnostics from the shop so I thought i'd give it a try.

Next question is if I am going from yellow to yellow do I need a reflash?

There was 2 different sets of yellow injectors in 11. Can't remember if they re flashed with the new yellow injectors or not

I have the yellow injectors that I will sell for a great price. What section of the Swapmeet Parts should it go under? Carbs? Engine?
