2011 F-250 Order

If you do any towing i would step up to the F350, not much more money, and better resale IMHO! Just my $.02, otherwise looks good. Hopefully the 6.7 lives up to all the hype. I personally would rather a buy a 2010 6.4, but that is just me. Will not buy a 6.7 until they are proven.

Lemon

At my work we have purchased 2004, 05, 06, 07, 08, and 09 fords with diesels because my boss is a true ford guy(I think he is about to jump ship). All have been junk and spent more time in the shop than should. In my opinion they should have all been lemons. Ford may not have went bankrupt or took loans from the government, but I think they laid off their entire QA department to keep from doing so. The 08 and 09 (they are both F450s) have even had rear shackle bolts fall out while driving. Come on Ford, put out a quality product like you used to.

See post #7. Pay special attention to the first line.

i bought a used 08 6.4 lariet with the navigation.. couldnt go wrong, got a good price and am very happy with it.. mine is a f350 with camper package, sunroof (so no rear factory entertainment), leveling kit, upfitter switches (running front fog lights), front bench seat, 3.55 case, rear cam, chrome package, rapid heat, etc..

basically exactly like what you are getting.. its a great truck and my first diesel as well..

put in a banks airintake and have a bully dog power pup for it as well...

you'll be happy..

That looks like a great build but do get the camper package if you're going to get the 250 or 350.

As for the chrome package, IMO, it looks kinda gaudy with the chrome mirror caps.

This is going to be an awesome pickup man and i think the only thing you are missing is the sunroof IMO. I have a 6.0 King Ranch and it is loaded and i wouldnt get one that isnt. I have heard alot of good things about this motor. Hey MountainCat68Papa when you getting your new one????

I will be going to States to pick up a f450. Hopefully someone will take a Canadian truck on trade.

Hey trickedout700 I'm thinking maybe this summer, or fall , maybe job 2 wait and see how the 6.7 is working out. I'm thinking its going to be a winner. Also give mountaincat 68 time to buy mine.

I agree with the resale value of a F-350 Vs. F-250. Other then that...... I would love to have one myself, even if its a F-250!!! Its out of my price range LOL  Post pictures when you get it!
