2011 crf450r necessary mods?

I'm building out my 2011. When you installed your kit, did you take the plastic inserts out to put the spacers in for the track or did you drill them out. I found the plastic inserts to be only very slightly larger than the spacers. I'm not sure I can get them thin enough to put the spacers in. Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks.
Plastic insert/spacers? I haven't converted back this year yet. I don't recall any plastic spacers. do you have a picture?

The Timbersled I have is used. Its a 2015 Mountain Horse St.

I noticed that some fit kits come with a plastic sleeve before the spacers go in. My fit kit did not have the plastic sleeves in the box but there were plastic sleeves already installed and my spacers wouldn't fit. This seemed to make sense because the instructions said I may have to drill it out. I started that process but then as I was tapping the spacers in, the sleeves came out the other side. They are almost the same diameter as the spacers that came in my kit so they would be paper thin if I kept drilling them out.

Were your spacers tight or did the fir in easily but without any play. Did you have to drill anything out?

You have a non-TSS fit kit, so you can just tap the plastic bushings out.
The plastic bushings came about when TSS was introduced. If you ever install TSS you'll want the right fit kit that uses the plastic bushings.

Awesome! I do have the fixed strut and not the TSS. Thank You for the help! So without the plastic Sleeve, My spacers fit right in. They are not snug meaning I don't have to tap them in, they slide in pretty easily but they also don't wobble around. So I should be good to go correct?
