assault1 is heading up the plans....

.......and when did we get sponshures?..

Actually Assault1 has had to hand the reins to his wife and she's trying to do this. But they need a ton of prayers more than anything. She can fill you in on all of the details if she sees fit. I have told her that I will help with whatever she needs. She did negotiate a 10% discount with SLO. I will be getting the contact list from XC and using my list of contacts from the previous ride at SLO to put together the raffle.

XC is going to handle the shirts and is tossing around the idea of ball caps and hoodies. So please feel free to let him know what you think on the BCR thread. He is only posting on BCR, as is Mule. There are only a handful of peeps using both sites so we will try to keep both updated and current.

Thanks,
Ralph

Proceeds of the raffle will be going to the Blue Ribbon Coalition. They haven't gotten money from us in a few years so I believe it's their turn.

Ralph and everyone else who is putting together the ride...THANKS FOR STEPPING UP!!!

LET'S ALL HOPE THE SNOW IS AS GOOD AS THE 08-09 FORUM RIDE:):):):)

Me and my modular will be making another appearance:):):)

Please post good photos of your riding groups and play shots for all to see. Keep them clean as potential donors will be viewing these threads. Thanks.:D

fyi all of the cabins are booked as of today. they still have alot of the bunkhouses [hotel type rooms] available.. chris

can you camp right up the road? I remember there being a parking area a few miles up where people were unloading.

At the quarry pit. Where they were doing sound checks 2 years ago.

Now, everyone please go to the Land Use section, read the thread and send an email with your opinions and feelings regarding what they will be doing. These possible changes may not affect this season but next year it will. Fight back and quit letting the whiners keep taking public lands away from the public. We all have a RIGHT to use it.

Just a bump to the top.

We have four donor confirmations so far. Thanks to:

Dan Gardiner aka Boondocker Films
and Powder-Jack Inc
Timbersled
Thundermountain Lodge (aka Mark)

The generosity is greatly appreciated. Thank you all so much, this is shaping up to be another epic year

A bunch of us locals plan on attending, four of us so far are firm committed.

It dumped 18" this weekend, but still need more. I think Buff Pass is still the only safe place to sled in the area so far.

May take a road ride up North if I'm back for the weekend.:face-icon-small-hap

Thanks for the locals update Zoomie. Do you happen to know the name of the manager at SLO? I need to send an email.

Russ Lambert, best to call him (970) 879-4404 as he's dealing with the hunting crowd right now.

Or ask for Jammie, she deals with a lot of the administrative stuff.
