Can't get the link to work, but new accessories and apparel are in the snowmobile section of purepolaris.com

use the "Build Your Sled" option at the bottom of the page and you can add accessories to the machine of your choice for 2011, and many of them actually appear on the sled

That fake carbon fiber stuff is expensive. I hope they offer the regular panels in different colors at better pricing.

2011 acc.catalog

Lots of new gear in this year ,color of coats ,new gloves , fxr boots, and expanded section on dressing in layers. I can't decide to get a new windbloc jacket or the new ascent softshell jacket. Cool new hoodies and I Like the new pro rmk hat . :face-icon-small-hap The rush and pro ride rmk can also get CARBON FIBER HOOD and SIDE PANELS, a little pricie but look cool as well. I'd like to try the knee pads myself even on my 2010 sled if they fit. One cool feature is that your old cover will fit the new pro rmks as well as the tunnel bags and fuel can rack. Red grippers are in the catalog as they were last season. DEALERS HAVE CATALOGS IF YOU WANT TO SEE ONE! Cant wait for next season to be here the new sled is awesome!!:face-icon-small-hap

FYI....the carbon fiber panels are NOT actually C/F, just look like it

And they're most def. not worth the money. Might as well wait until C3 Powersports comes out with pannels for these things. I'm gonna buy the Pro's black hood as a replacement part for my Standard RMK.

Hood $349.99
LH $249.99
RH $249.99

Yikes!!! Isn't that about the price of real C/F???

my point exactly when I said wait and see what C3 comes out with. It'll look better because it will be real CF and will lighter than the stock panels. I'm sure they will produce something for this sled. but yes, the polaris look-a-like CF panels arent worth the money IMO

The CF "look" hood is less money as an accessory than the black hood from the parts counter by about $120.

As far as REAL CARBON FIBER.... FasTrax Motorsports in Puyallup Washington has already started on the molds and has the panels in the shop to make them.

Fire N Ice Products in Idaho Falls has also finalized the vent designs for this sled and has started the production process for next year... they are definately thinking ahead of the curve as well.

Good to see companies on the ball to deliver products for these sleds.

Any idea of when we will see a after market pipe for this Pro RMK?

SLP usually makes one, and hopefully they should be out by October.

Last time I spoke with them they didn't have the new motor and they didn't see that changing anytime soon so I wouldn't count on it until mid-season.

Have FUN!

Agreed but something I would like to add is that all the plastics Polaris has done for their new sleds are now Vinyl similar to say, vinyl house siding. This carbon fiber look is created the same way Polaris has done their camoflage on their ATV's for the last few years, the panel is molded and then a special layer of cloth like material is layed over the panel, the cloth houses special ink. the cloth covered panel is then heated to within 5 degrees of its melting point, this draws the ink out of the cloth and into the vinyl, so it is permanently etched deep into the panel, so no matter if its scratched or what it will still show the design. - Tanner

--good details there Tanman. I hope they do some other color/design with that process. maybe next year.....?

Actually, the body side panels are made from TPO (Thermo Plastic Olefin).... it is paintable.

The Hood, Fenders and nosepan are a modified Nylon (according to the Polaris engineer at Jackson).... Nylon is difficult to get paint to stick to it.

The Polaris carbon fiber stuff is "Water Dipped" similar to what E3 desings does on the custom sleds they wrap.
