I'm actually considering a Polaris, never owned one, but the pro's have peaked my curiosity.

Would like a 13, but not willing to spend that kind of cash, so what are the major differences differences?

I want an agile sled, what's the diff between 2011 and 2012? I know they dropped a lot of wieght from the 11 to 13, but what else? Is the sled chassis essentially the same?

Engine?

Thanks.

All you got to to do is open your eye's to see the changes. The '13 is pretty hard to resist! Just rely on the warranty, and hope for the best on the motor. Everyone's doin it!

Gotta be around some to be able to see them, none around my area, that's why I'm asking.

From a Cat guy lookin at'em. This is what I've noticed.

The '11s and '12s are the same except for better motor mounts on the '12s, thats it I think. Pretty much the same.

The '13s are a mod sled straight from the factory! Saweet sled! Same Poo motor!:crutch:

Splurge on the 2013 or just hold out one more year and buy a left over (if you can find one). I bought an assault leftover but only because they didn't change at all going to 2013. Can save ~2k buying in crate leftover!

That what I did. Have had 3-cats and this will be my 1-poo.

Dan Adams told me there are about 245 refinements to the 13 over the 12. Most are very subtle, but the belt drive, running boards and the seat are the easiest to notice.

Thanks guys, maybel I'll have to ride both years to experience the difference to see if it's work 4-5 grand.

I see the 13 worth being worth it if you keep your sleds stock. Otherwise there pretty much the same when modded

Get a great deal in the 11, ride it for a year, then snowcheck a 14. It will have a totally different engine. Plus other things.

The 2011 is a great sled. The 2012 is a slightly better sled. The 2013 has some fancy new items which sound great but are untested.

My choice would be a 2011 or 2012 and save your cash for a 2014

The've got thousands and thousands and thousands of miles on that belt drive.

How do you know this? Crystal ball? Or an actual source?

A source, three major things are coming, one was the belt drive, two will a new motor, three don't know. 2014 is the 60th anniv. Will be awesome.

I'm just speculating, but I'm expecting a new engine pretty soon. I thought there would be a new one for '13. This will be the 6th season of the cleanfire 800. How many other 800's have been around for that long? none. Btw the 60th anniversary will be the 2015 model year.
