I live in Oregon, but donated my 2$ for what it's worth. Off subject a lil, but is there any word on Marble warming hut proggress or any other shelters? I know another thread ----jack!!! l<>l & KLAN !!!!

Taken. Commented that WA should follow Michigan's lead and allow a one-time-only registration for classic/antique sleds (25 yrs and older); raised a bunch of cash in MI because no one wanted to continually register their older sleds and got a lot more interest in the sport from peeps who can't afford the outrageous costs of new sleds these dayz! Also less enforcement would be a good thing! We can police ourselves without ranger rick giving out tickets for riding too close to the wilderness signs like the BS they pulled last couple years on Adams! Vote for Romney if you want this sport to continue in the US - he's a die hard sledhead (big supporter of sled trails and access rights as was his dad when he was governor of MI).

Have FUN!

Done... Problem is this is being used for revenue generation and that revenue is subject to be used for general fund if the state feels like it. I doubt much of the monies gained will be used for new access areas or grooming but rather the hiring of more enforcment types. Just say'n

I would love to fill this out and have my fee's
increased. Problem is they have proven in the past
that when fee's go up those funds end up getting
appropriated to other programs like plowing ect...

I would be on board even with fairly sizable increases
if it meant more frequent grooming, but i just don't see
them proving to us the money is going where WE want it.

Sorry if this sounds like a rant, just frustrated w/ the system

Done. I indicated I would support higher fees only if it was assured those funds would go directly back to our programs and that the accounting of the funds taken in and paid out was open and published in a direct accounting to at least the WSSA.

I know delusional thinking when it comes to politicians accounting for something. Just dreaming.......

JIM 9006 AND MT MIKE , Trust us who have been fighting for this increase

Trust me, this money will not be scarfed up in the general fund as long as WSSA is around, they will fight to keep it in our own program, AND The money will go directly to the Motorized winter rec system, Yes, more grooming , yes more plowing ect, Every dime will not go to grooming , it's our entire budget that has been cut, Grooming, sanitation, plowing ect have all been effected by the reduction in money the last couple years.

That was easy. Hope nobody wants more enforcement.

No more regulations as laws cost money to make and enforce. Responsibility is a personal thing and the whole shouldn't have to pay for the few idiots.

The strong survive and the weak (idiots) must die. Natural selection works yet we humans are constantly tring to fight it.
