Question for all you cat guys and gals. Im switching over from polaris any rumors or info if cat will continue the 1000 models or will they discontinue. Any helpful info would be good.

The m1000 is hear to stay for sure, but if your going to buy it and leave it stock next years 8 is going to have 10 more hp next year should be sled of the year next year!

Where is that extra hp going to come from? Will the 08/09 be upgrade compatable?

hold on there, you have something you'd like to run against my m1000 down here in eastern WA. Some of the snow conditions we get a m1000 will stomp any stock sled around. As for pulling its weight it pulls its weight and my 210lbs a$$ places most people don't go. I'll put money on that. If the chassis stays the m1000 will for sure.

I could see them throwing another 10 HP into the 1000, just to keep it that far ahead of the 800. They can get the horse, it's the emissions thats holding things back.
