Going to be a hard sell when PG yamaha is selling the same sleds brand new with the 240 kit for the same price. You will probably have to take a hit on it to move it. Got to remember that these things are toys.....Not investments. You will never break even or make money unless you come upon a really good deal. JMO

A 240MCX kit on a brand new Nytro 162 for $18500?? I have a hard time believing that? Must be getting generous or really desperate these days if they are selling them for that.. Seems to me that they set the prices for the dealers on these kits and get pissed if they sell any cheaper. Kind of a hypocrite if he is!!

Wow! - talk about depreciation. Yamaha is selling the 2010 Nitros for $4,100 less than I paid for mine last X'mas! No wonder no one has responded to my ad! I guess I will either have to ride the dam thing or take a huge beating on the selling price!

Okay guys, lets be realistic - we have all bought new sleds and know when the dealer sells a sled they add on freight & PDI (another $340), not to mention any documentation fees they feel like ($100 to $500), and they also add levies (rubber & battery etc.). So the sale price of $19,000 quickly becomes $20,000. Now add our famous 12% HST(harmonized sales tax), which you pay $22,400. Now all of a sudden the used sled I am selling (like new with less than 2,000 km) doesn't sound like a bad deal for $18,500 CASH!! (save yourself nearly $4,000 and buy my sled!)

Warranty on the turbo kit- Yes, warranty on the motor, No. Yamaha will NOT warranty the motor if the turbo is put on and the engine fails. With exception now of the Push Turbo. If the dealer wants to warranty the engine, that's up to them, but Yamaha will not warranty the motor.
Just for your information about the warranty. There is a misconception that add on aftermarket accessories void the warranty. A lot of manufacturers will state this in there warranty, but the manufacturer must prove the the accessorie was the cause of failure in order to not honor a warranty. Check into the laws if you do not believe this.

so again...and ONLY because you asked...you can try to justify and explain all you want, but you really should look at the competition and what others with similar options are selling for.
If you want to sell in this market you better be willing to swallow your pride and price for the market (experience talking).

Yep I agree. You should see the Nytro my buddy just picked up for 15 it is done tip to tail and I mean every part on it is custom, well over 33K into this sled and its a low miler to boot. Unfortunately thats the market these days a guy is better off just riding what ever he has into the ground.

Not trying to raise your neck hairs, but I have to agree with many comments here. I personally am not right in PG, but with past dealings, will never set foot in that place again, pure BS when it comes to anything, unless your a close pal of the people working there.Is that one of the sleds they bought from the previous year, since they bought all the remaining sleds from inventory at a reduced cost, had them lined up around the showroom last year.Not saying you paid too much, bought maybe got ripped. The cost to them for a turbo is peanuts.Only warranty they would do, since once you add a turbo etc to the engine, they would be personally going good for it to cover their butts.
If a dealer has a guy walk into his shop and want to double his horse power and expect full blown warranty on his sled, he should escort him out the door. He'll have nothing but problems with said guy from that moment on. If buyer is reasonable and dealer is willing to stand by his product(barring buyer doesn't crank the boost up on sh!tty fuel and claim he was only running 5 pds boost) they can always work out a compromise on fixing sled up if and when something happens. The only way you have issues on these sleds is if your running too much boost on crappy fuel, you do a self install and don't know what the h you are doing, or your dealer don't know what he's doing.
YOU GOTTA BE READY TO PAY TO PLAY when you jack up power on a sled with a turbo, a diesel truck with a chip or whatever. If your not ready to possibly put some coin into fixing a sled back up, don't turbo it.
the sled is worth what the buyer is willing to pay, cash talks bs walks, you never get what you put into it unless the buyer doesnt know what hes buying
